how foolish are we to believe we have it all figured out,
while the secrets of life giggle behind our turned backs
we are faced towards anything that tends to distract,
the mystical drowned out by the magnet of madness we call worry and defeat,
the magic still pushing to unfold below our too-clean feet,
i am undressing,
taking off the clothes of logic society has wrapped me up into so tightly,
i used to believe in short breaths,
now hoping to be met with the embrace our earth has been trying to give us all along,
and for the acceptance of the green previously unseen to come rushing into my chest,
